Question about Log Truck Drivers.

I cant take credit for it, not me, you never take pictures of your own crash :)

good story behind it though. A young driver, had his girlfriend with him, went up hill, spun out, had no chains on, it started sliding backwards, he got scared, hollered at her to jump, she didnt, he did, its slide till the trailer went over the bank and held it up in that position. They are no longer a couple. If you look close you will see its a tridrive, thats how close it came to going completly over.

our hills arnt quite as bad around here. got a sideways one, no idea how to fix that.

Yep looks pretty standered for around here to. Tridum wagons is what we run. Short log quads are starting, nothing like getting shoved down the hill hey stomping Tom, the tail now is wagging the dog lol.
If the trucking part seems silly we are now tethering our bunchers and pushing them off 60-70% slopes. Life of a logger.
hey is that the 875or 880 tigercat. Just got back from there factory tour, great stuff right there.

875 Tigercat, operator loves it, they just got a prototype machine, operator helped design it, no numbers yet, but really nice, shorter body, heavier counterweight and longer boom so he can reach in the tight spots.

I loaded those trucks for many years in pg cause boss said i drive to fast to be a truck driver hair straight back on the front end loaders back then Now my kid is driving trucks Stresses the old lady out
