Any body else having rad issues on 6.7 motor ? 127,000 kms going on my 3rd rad . Of coarse just out of warranty AGAIN when it went. Any better solutions then the ford garbage or Chinese built aftermarket...tried both those.

Where is it leaking? Have you looked at the mishimoto? Lots of off road?

I am on my second mishimoto and it just started leaking as well. At least they are lifetime warranty just the pain of changing and replacing rad fluid. I wish there were a better answer. But I believe it is the flex in the frame.

I work in some pretty rough areas in the bush and heard about the occasional failure but usually after a big stuck or tow. Are you off road a lot as well? Kinda pisses me off everything turning into tin foil these days..

Buddy is a rig welder in the patch and often has to be tugged into a job or get pulled out when he gets stuck (f550 loaded to the nuts). He’s had 2 radiators fail, both times shortly after being pulled out. Both times they were pulling on only one tow hook. I suggested to him to tie onto both hooks to prevent the frame from racking. It’s been over a year since he put the second radiator in, and he’s been pulled through or out many times since.

Each time bottom of rad where tabs crimp plastic. I don’t 4x4 off road, but do go down gravel logging roads in fall time for hunting

Did you buy your rad in Canada or order it out of the states? Thinking I might go this route next time

When mine started leaking on my 2011 I sourced out the cheapest one I could find. Like 360 bux. That was 200000km
Ago. Sorry. Can’t remember the name of the company.

You could try mishimoto, I don’t think they’re the cheapest , but I’ve never heard a bad thing about them

2011 f350 with 303690 klm on it , no engine issues just a rad because of cracked mounting brackets or something . One front wheel bearing . Still going strong going to try for 500000. Lots of cold starts . just let it warm up before driving .

I know its not the same truck but I know the 6.4 had issues with body and rad mounts being pooched. It would put stress on the radiator/cooling group thus causing the rad to split/leak. Just a thought.

Ok thanks. I’ll check them out when I change the rad out...it’s just a small leak right now, top it up every second day.

Very nice looking rads and good quality tig welds.
