There has been a lot of chatter on Sherwood Park f/b sites about how good the NDP is and how bad the UCP is....a lot of false information, re the UCP's Education policies and their position re GSA's.
Even Rick Mercer stepped in to share false info re Kenny, not a big stretch for Rick he's all sensationalism and no substance...but the number of people defending Notley, scares the crap out of me, we can't afford another term of this....hell it's going to take a lot of work and time to dig us out of this hole....

The AFFA is based in Edmonton and unfortunately suffers from the same nearsightedness that the other union groups do from there. They’ve forgotten that the presumptive cancer legislation for firefighters was started by and continually supported by the conservatives. Other than this important item, fire unions typically don’t get involved much in politics. Talking with some of the union reps, they’ve tried to connect with the UCP and have gotten no response.

So what is the reason for this? Have the NDP promised there would be more fires to fight if they vote for them?
Seriously though I don't understand unions backing job killing NDP governments. It happens all over the country.
