In them hills.
Are we just going to go back and forth. No, not as a business owner. Will you answer the question?
Really you can figure out what I am trying to say?

I am saying you may have some emapthy for the people who make the world's go round if you were one yourself.

Best education on the way the world really works is to own your own business.

But I feel as if none of this will make any sense to you anyways. So I am done here.

Enjoy voting for a political part that is driving Alberta into the ground.

Ok, so I still don't understand. If the provincial carbon tax is scrapped, the federal one is imposed. And Skegpro still hasn't answered.

then the Alberta government will join with the other 5 provinces and take trudy to court, getting the carbon tax abolished! simple eh!!

I cannot figure out what you are trying to say, I guess Im sorry. I do not understand how the NDP has wronged you, or how the UCP will change that. I really don't understand how the NDP has driven the province into the ground, or how that will change with a change of provincial leadership.

Not sure who you are calling the dirt bag loser? What things do you own that the rest of the province doesn't? I personally own a truck, boat, sled, and house which I pay the fuel bill for all.

enlighten me of your views!
I would really like someone to actually tell me what the UCP is going to do for the economy, and how the NDP has driven it into the ground.
Everyone here is just giving me crap. I have expressed my views and backed it up with some amount of reason. Now just give me some solid information of why I should change my political views. Its called political debate.

Ok, so you don't like the carbon tax. The provincial government implemented a provincial one before the federal tax was imposed. I get that. The UCP has said they will scrap the provincial carbon tax, but than the federal tax will be imposed. So then we will join the other provinces and try to fight the federal tax. Don't we have federal government representation that should be fighting this? I personally would rather have the provincial tax, that the province somewhat controls, than the federal tax that we have no control over.

Hummm lets see. The NDP has never supported the oil and gas industry, so can a leopard change its spots??? How about the cut in oil production instead of having a backbone and fighting for a way to get our product to market, allowing the feds to purchase the TMPL seems pretty weak to me.
How about a carbon tax on a carbon tax?? Seems redundant to charge oil companies and the end user for a naturally occurring gas.
Look at all the layoffs and oil companies selling their assets.
Y2Y seems to be a hot topic lately.

The NDP Definitely has NOT helped the Alberta economy. What will the UCP do to turns things around IMO is uncertain, hopefully their platform will help stimulate the investment into capital projects here. Unfortunately the damage that has been done, And I think it will take a couple of elections with the UPC and a different federal govt to turn things around.

she has done nothing to get the oil flowing other than buddying up with the clown in Ottawa.... and with the so called social license to get the pipeline built that has gotten us no where ….hired a consultant that is against the oilfields that is supposed to help us ....how much investment has left our province for sask ….. need we say sask was more than happy to accept …… sask was under ndp rule for years and alberta had a major influx of people from sask ever sit and wonder why they all moved here cause the ndp killed sask …. now that sask has conservatives in power the tide is turning

I'll start right from the beginning, I don't have much time but here we go...... (It's sad I have to explain a socialist government that takes from haves to give to have nots, which is Stone Age thinking to begin with)
Right from the podium she said natives I'm here for you now......she's gunna work for population that doesn't contribute taxes
started bill 6 completely pissing off farmers
Raised highest minimum wage in county when we are losing jobs
raised corporate tax
made laws so you can't even critisize gays (anti free speech)
made probaly 100 union laws
raised pubic sector lowered private
made all kids in schools rethink what's actually in thier pants and changed all the bathroom doors
Filled all the school books with white shame (settlers and the victims-natives )
Gave hundreds of millions to some native band up north nobody ever heard off
taking away public lands access
blew billions of dollars
carbon tax us
have to pay a person for a day of work they never intended to work
Lied about fighting for oil and everything else.....
I KNOW IM MISSING HUNDREDS OF OTHER THINGS THEY HAVE DONE

I completely agree, the NDP has definitely not helped the economy. And Im interested to hear whet the UCP will do to help turn that around. Kenny will definitely be a louder voice, but Im not sure his kick and scream tactics(like Ford) will get us any further ahead.

And no a leopard cannot change its spots. I have always been a conservative, but since the Progressive Conservatives have joined with the Wild Rose they are a little too far too the right for my comfort.
