They have been selling off assets for a few years, they have very few remaining. They have sold off their Albian assets to CNRL , and have sold 90% of the upgrader area at their Scotford plant. They still own the refinery and chemical plant at Scotford, but sources say they will not hold on to it for much longer

Friggin' greenies and social media have convinced the world that oil sands are the worst possible thing in the world. Politics have also played a major role in Shell's decision. If there were pipelines being built this would not be happening. Notley spent a good deal of her political career protesting anything oil so her latest lame attempts at being seen as pro-oil don't convince anybody she has their best interest at heart. She will return to her true beliefs when she is defeated soundly in the spring election.

Kinda funny, they were one of the biggest supporters of the carbon tax. Now that they see the damage this government’s done they can cut ties and leave us Albertans holding the bag.

im afraid we are only being told half of what is gong on, The UN is all about control. claiming strength in diversity, diversity means less white people! do you think the africans, asians or eastern Musliums will be willing to support the white world, if not ask yourselves what will happen to all the now extra white people that are not needed, as they take over. We need to close our borders and not let illegal immigrants in .
