In order to save legal costs, we should just give each Syrian refugee $10 million each when they land. That seems to be the going rate.

First off I would like to clarify that I am disgusted with the payment made to the traitor Omar Khadr and I wrote an email of complaint to our wonderful Prime minister.
That being said, I don't think these 3 people are in the same situation as Khadr. Sounds like CSIS and the RCMP screwed up and these guys paid a price for it. I don't think they deserve 10 million or so each, even if they are truly innocent of any type of terrorist activities. Are they 100% innocent? I don't know, but the news article certainly didn't make them out to be terrorists.

Do you guys even bother to read the article or just start whining? If you read it, you'd know this started in 2007-2008 from a former federal Supreme Court justice, long before Liberals had power. Appears they paid the same as a previous payout done in 2007, under conservative power...

If you look into this a bit, they were put on a terrorist list by the FBI, not CSIS....so why did WE have to PAY?
The conservatives made the first 10 mill payment lol. I agree, I'll take a beating and a few months jail for 10mill too, sign me up, beats a life time of working.

Unreal!! F.cknut should pay out of his own pocket for these decisions. Come on everyone if you think this is ok your just as stupid as him. That 30 million could have used for healthcare, education or seniors. He does not care about any Canadian. Why is it so easy to write cheques for this stuff and not healthcare, education etc? Any decisions like this should be voted on by Canadians, after all it's our money not his!!!

Question I have is, did the people that were paying all this money to get grabbed from the Canadian streets and put on an airplane and forced to go to a foreign country where this violence and kidnapping is a common thing. Or did they go on there own, and know want some money for what they went through, and that our government never rescued them quick enough?

What are the odds that all 4 getting pay outs were muslim? There should only be a 2% chance that one payout it would be a muslim. But no it is 100% muslims getting payouts. Very slim odds indeed. We know for sure Omar was a terrorist and murderer. Trudeau said he saved us money by not letting go through the courts.
