We had alot a rain and wind last night,now they are saying tonight and tomorrow will be way worse,50 mm of rain and gusts up to 90 kmh, should be a great day for work tomorrow.
Drove by a semi on it's side flipped over,east Indian dude just standing up in his cab, looking out to another East Indian guy standing on hiway...guess he thought he'd be in trouble if he kicked the windshield out lol.

My canadain tire shelter logic shed got ripped apart today, thankfully the frame is still standing and the contents are still there

Gliechen about an hour ago. My bro in law got sent out from brooks to help put out fires along the tracks. Sounds like a gas station has burnt and something about a train on fire near carsland.

Actually the train was what caused the fire. Bad bearings throwing spark along tracks as train was moving down tracks. Finally stopped at Gleichen. It caused the Wheatland county fire they say.

We've had a pile of grass fires locally over the last 24 hours. Crappy deal - a lot of guys burnt stubble on Monday and some was still smouldering on my way home last night from work. Could see a lot of potential there. In Moose Jaw, winds were recorded at 135 km/h; Regina at 120 km/h last night. Not much for damage, but it was entertaining to drive through construction zones this morning with pylons at random on the highway.

huge windstorm thru Okanagan yesterday. No power at my house for 23 hrs now and still waiting. Wonder if Trump will come over and throw paper towel rolls LOL

My neighbour had an emergency Gen set installed a few years back. I confess to rolling my eyes a bit at the time but it has kicked in twice this year. All automatic and starts and stops as needed.
Runs on natural gas which seldom goes out. Starting to think maybe the $5,000 might be worth it
