There was a booth there that had a whole bunch of gas tanks or something and hard hats they hydrodipped hanging on the wall... it was in the far hall. I grabbed a card from him but I lost it! Does anyone recall what that place was called?

The gas tanks and display was a level above just a black out. More like a custom air brush job.

Plastics can be dyed with a commercial grade of RIT fabric dye and Acetone mixture. I had the same idea a few years ago. I have all the stuff to do it sitting in the garage but have not got around to it.

Lots of videos on the net about it but most are related to hobbies that are a little different to power sports. The one I watched was about customizing a yoyo and action figures.

If somebody mixed up a dip tank, they could probably dip a pile of items!

I did my jerry cans a couple years back, the first time the fuel warmed up and the tanks expanded it all cracked and flaked off
