Hmm maybe it's just me but if the tankers save my house because of laying down red retardant and leave a bit of a mess on my place......Thank you! Can't believe the way some people think. Sorry I just had to rant!

I understand it is not too easy to clean off. Wouldn't that be a job for one's insurance company though? Still better than loosing all your stuff though

No It's not just you. It's too bad that the pilots couldn't know the reactions of these people ahead of time. Some people just don't deserve help.

Amazing. People work hard to save people's property and it's still not good enough.

Even people complain after car accidents because we cut part of car to get them out.

Some people are never happy.

Again, I speak on behalf of my better half who works for Airspray....this comes up a LOT apparently.....the consensus is that most (if not all) of those that b!tch about it are those that are underwater on their mortgage and were hoping that this natural disaster would pull them out of debt.

That's sad but can see people think that way. I wouldnt bitch about red on my house! Maybe in fire prone areas or all houses they should put no spray on the roofs so pilots don't waste time on ungrateful people!

Saw this news article and thought the exact same thing. Would you rather have retardant to clean up or be starting over from scratch? Gotta shake your head sometimes.

Not sure where anybody gets the idea that they will cut their debt because of an insurance claim. The insurer just fixes or replaces your stuff but they don't pay off what you owe
