so my go pro records fine but when i put it on the computer it is like its in slow mode. i can watch it fine on the go pro but not the computer. Any idea? I have a mac and I'm using iMovie to build the videos

Chris, I'm thinking Modify/Reset Speed. It also happened to me. There may be a setting on the clip in the working window (right click with the mouse) but I forget. I will look around for you. It is a pain but once you find it, it works well.

If your son is recording in any higher frame rate on his GoPro. It could be playing at a reduced frame rate lowering the playback speed on the computer.
