Awesome-ness Mike, thx for posting as I share this with others.

Lets hope the "NEXT" rally grabs the GOA's attention.

Don

PS: Like Garitt mentioned and Shannon Phillips said. The full length of the Eastern Slopes.

Of course Castle area is the one in the fore-front at the moment, one can see the shift in this carry forward along the Eastern Slopes.
Once OHV and Camping is out of the picture, then the GOA will do the same thing with Harvesting and fishing.

Hope I'm wrong as it will be one sad day for "ALL" Albertains , Canadians, those of us that live life in our Americas as a whole.

The AWA "Alberta Wilderness Association" were considering a Wild Land Park on the West side of the FTR "Forestry Trunk Road" last year.

About 17 of us from S&M along with 30 in support of OHV, Snowmobiles, camping went out to find out details.

It was a no show by AWA, Nordegg voted the gal that headed up Council out and replaced her with a fellow that is pro out doors.

The AWA tried this 30 years ago with Martha Kawschuck and the plan failed, but parts of it became the Big Horn idea in 2001/2. "in a small way as the PC GOVERNMENT party did not want too upset the apple cart.

If this wilderness park idea happens, then we" might be looking at the largest wilderness park in Alberta.

Could,,, Could be 5 too 7 X's larger than the Castle Area.

It would be from the FTR West too the National Park, North the Carnal Band that is the Brazoo River & South to Clear Water or better Known as Lime Stone Mountain Area.

Hope I'm wrong as it will 1, 2 punch the whole out door recreation industry.

Camping, hunting, fishing, boating, OHV, Snowmobiles, hiking, biking, and many other activities out-doors.

$1.2 or $1.7 billion dollars industry will take a hit, along with oil & gas as well as logging & future mining.

Hope I'm wrong brothers and sisters, hope I'm wrong.
