It's between my free ride and my T3. Both awesome sleds.

my year 2000. 700cc high mark was a wicked sled in its day.

My 09 summit x hill climb edition. Put a 2.5" track and rk head and drop in kit with Deanos power valve mod and Boysen reeds. That sled worked! I would have taking it over my 14 xm any day.

1979 Ski Doo Citation 300. some great memories riding that thing all over, including to school almost everyday in the winter. same skis as an elan, would break one at least every season, they were $25 each brand new. smashed the hood off it more times than I care to remember, fiberglassed it back together, rattle can of black paint and do it again. it could be -30 and that sled would start, three squirts of the primer and it was running. never left me stranded once, I beat the snot out of it...landed so hard once it tore the intake boot off and the carb was laying on the bulkhead. black taped it back on and replaced the boot with a piece of rubber coolant line from a 400 cummins. dad bought it for me when it was one year old for $400. we rebuilt the motor in our shop together after a crank seal went, broke a piston trying to get the fixed half off the crank so it got all new parts lol. learned some new swear words from my pa during the process. more smiles per gallon than anything I've ever owned since. I still have it in the shed, along with 2 others I bought for my boys.

good times.

2005 Snopro 440. By far the most fun I have had on a sled. Light as heck, takes pretty much any sled off the line(if set up snow conditions). I liked it so much I bought another one! And put a 600efi in it. Still have the, both.

Oh yah! That takes me back, brand smacking new 91 500 Indy. I put some d&g twin pipes on that thing and rode the life out of it...never died and with 133 track with plastic paddles there was nothing touching you lol.
was it great sleds or just great times back then?

Tough question. So many sleds, so many years. My '86 Phazer was a lot of fun. Pointing where I came from more often than not.

Had a few favourites. My 93 phaser with a 136" and 1 5/8" plastic paddles was a blast
95 vmax4 was a crazy climber
99 summitX with a 156 was insane
01 800 summit game changer
03 vertical escape. 200 hp with NOS. need I say more?
05 M7 with a 174. Life changing.
09 M1000 200 hp without NOS. well speechless again
2013 turbo pro 174. Best one yet.

1978 Skidoo Olymique. Rode the balls off that sled as a kid. Never let me down. 500 Indy would be second vote.

In all honesty i have enjoyed all the sleds i owned in one way or another. Some were more challenging then other's in either riding or mechanical issues but they all had one thing in common, allowed me to enjoy a great sport. I liked them all and hated them all.
The most memorable one's seemed to be the most challenging one's that tested me in many way's.
I really don't have one that stands out, they were all great. All i can say is my very first experience on a snowmobile was sitting in front of my mom while she drove her 1970 Nordick 640 following my dad on his 1971 Panther 399 near Sherbrook Quebec, lake Magoog, in the early 70's.
My very first snowmobile was a 1976 Ski-roule 340, bought it new off the show room floor for about $1000. don't remember exact amount.
Now i'm looking at $20,000 for a SideWinder WTH, times have changed but not the love LOL
