Try rolling the bars back so the bend is not going up or only slightly. Then level out throttle again. I drove a buddies a couple years ago that were like that and it killed my arms.

Crazy question, but what part of your thumb are you using? This might be a dumb question, but am I the only one that seems to get a massive Popeye-like forearm pump when sledding? Sometimes it gets so bad I have to come up with "creative" ways of opening up the throttle. After a full day, usually the first time or two, it can get painful towards the end of the day. Is this a function of my gloves? Throttle? I go to a gym every single day to avoid things like this, but there doesn't seem to be a way to prepare for the sled-throttle forearm pump. It's worse than a calf-burn ffs.
Assuming I'm not the only one... what do others do?

I had a quad that I could only only get the tip of my thumb on, which used to give me forearm pump.
On my sleds I mash throttle with the bone between the first two joints of the thumb (from the tip) and pull in with my fingers more than I push with my thumb.
And if that doesn't work fer yeah more self abuse to strengthen fore arms and just wide open throttle everywhere
