It is a time for the oilers to put out an extra effort to build on.

Mcdavid will be skating in 2 weeks (I broke my clavicle when I was 15 and was riding my bike in 3 weeks) He will be in top shape and ready to scrimage in 5 and be rolling to kick in 7.

it could have been worse... Spinal, or pelvis, or FEMUR.

It's time that he learns his mortal ways early, before he gets a concussion and has to end it early.

very true. They are reporting now 7 to 8 weeks which is alot better than Kane last year.
This just gives all the other rookies this year a chance at catching up for the Calder Memorial Trophy but i bet he is back on the ice playing by January 1
and he will still win the Calder.

They said he hasn't damaged the surrounding tissues or muscles, so the healing will be much quicker (Thank Gord).

To be honest, I am kind of sad about it. I've always been a Hall fan, I love the speed and intensity he brings, and I found myself identifying the same qualities in Connor's game. Obviously, Connor is a different player and it's very clear that he sees the game very differently. He was exciting to watch - and it was incredibly fun watching him undress seasoned D and goalies.

That being said, I want him to heal properly, so I won't be wishing him back in the line up.

Also,

This isn't just a loss for the Oilers, many people were tuning in just to watch him. He has been hyped to the max but he's good for the game, IMO.

Sucks that he's gonna miss out on the Calder...

I actually don't doubt that he comes back and goes on an absolute tear. He's got something to prove!

Oh my Gord, that girl seems to beat to her own drum..........

I picked it up on Twitter. Then it stuck. I kind of like it, actually.

And yes, Zen, I tend to go my own way! But you say it like its a bad thing...? Haha

May be skating in 2 weeks but sure as hell won't be with and motion, his clav was broken the same way mine was inverted, which is a rare thing, I can speak first hand he's gonna be wearing the man bra for a month minimum to pull the shoulders back to where they are supposed to be

Really like the way they are coming together. Not there yet but , you can finally see light at the end of the tunnel ! Yak , Drai, nurse are almost there.... Davidson Looks good , and Klefbom has turned the corner it would appear....

For all u framers and knucklehead fans , the upside on the oilers is huge . The flames is more so so, while the Canucks ; what upside ?
