Whattaya mean? I look to part-time drama teachers who have never had a job to guide me with ALL my life's decisions.....
This isn't a new problem. About 8 years ago I fired a guy for very good reasons. Ended up getting sued for " wrongful dismissal". Employers have no rights. Just like landlords have no rights anymore. The courts always side with the douche bags of the world. It's very hard to legally fire any body.

Perhaps a petition for improved immigration screening...... Just throwing this out there, treat it like jury duty, a group of twenty or so average Canadians (must be third or so generation) with no political aspirations decide...

Look at the teacher from Glee, Mr. Schue, he seems like a good egg, could probably run a country managed to get queers/jocks/gimps/fatties/cheerleaders/nerds to all get along and work as a team......How bad could Trudeau be, if he's a good actor maybe he could pull it off.....

I don't understand why a superstar CEO isn't in charge and ministers are not academically qualified and experienced to manage their portfolios.
Minister of education = professor
Minister of finance = MBA/CFO
Minister of Environment = Environmental scientist / biologist / geologist etc.
Minister of Defence = General / Colonel / Stratagist
Minister of Transportation = Truck Driver Rig/Carnie Mover

If someone did take the time to create a petition about this issue, i know i'd sign, and get everyone i know to sign. I just don't know how, or have the time to follow through with everything. As "racist" as this will make me sound, close the doors to all immigrants, focus on what we already have, and live like a Canadian. End of story, no more national anthem, no more Christmas, no more anything, the worlds turning grey.

Are you kidding??? If you are not here's how it works. Canada is a parliamentary democracy. From time to time we have elections. At these elections citizens of Canada are able to vote for a represented (federally know as a Members of Parliament) that will represent our views in Parliament where legislation is proposed and vote on. Much of this legislation becomes the law. The idea is that the representative/member of parliament that you vote for, if elected (using the example at hand) will vote against legislation that will allow people in this country not to sever drinks as a flight attendant of a chef not to prepare pork dishes and to vote for legislation that would make such ridiculous labour activities subject to instant dismissal.
Important to note that I do not believe that people should have to serve or prepare any thing they don't want to. Take me for instances I like Bacardi 151. Hell I have drank the better part of 4 bottles since January (with a little help from my friends) but I never have or will serve it to any one other then friends or family. So as a reasonable citizen of Canada I won't be applying for a flight attendant job. I don't fear pork either but beyond ribs on the BBQ I won't be chef either. I hope this answers your question.

We all have to do things in our lifetimes that we don't like but generally they don't go against our beliefs. If knowingly you take a job that requires you to regularly go against your beliefs then you are nothing but a whiny trouble maker who expects that everyone else should have to change for you. Look, most of those types of people don't care about you or your life only about theirs and want the world to cater to them.
