Question. Would it not make more sense for the world to put boots on the ground, kill everyone of the 20,000-30,000 ISIS members in Iraq and Syria instead of shipping the 4,000,000+ refugees to other parts of the world to be fed, housed and taxing other countries reserves? We can't even take care of our own seniors and we want to bring in 25,000 people with nothing but the shirts on there backs? Someone enlighten me please? Lol.:dunno:

I agree, get rid of ISIS and make Syria habitable for the Syrian people again, the western world can't be the welfare net of the Middle East anymore, most of the countries where the refugees are landing can't even take care of their own citizens. And I sure don't want more people in Canada whose "rights and beliefs" we also have to "accommodate".

I agree, no more people that can't pay their own way, people need to take a stand and fight for their homes.....where would we be today if our elder generations just ran away from the oppressors....if it came to this in canada I would fight and die for my country/home/family to keep it free, handouts solve nothing !!!!

Cause its the humane thing to do. Let 25,000 refugees to come to Canada, not completing their paperwork properly, make a living here, possibly getting a job and paying taxes, possibly not to, have a better life than to support our own people. This way we can get 23,000 people who have no intentions on working and living off the rest of us who pay for Canada.
Sad thing is, it was never an issue (refugees from Syria) until a 3 yr old boy drowned. Yes, its sad, don't get me wrong. It happened because the family was trying to get a better life. I get it. But it happened off the shores of Turkey (Not our problem, not our coast line). But since they were trying to get to Canada (Illegally I might add), now we feel that we have to welcome these refugees with open arms.
But he applied and it was sent back because it was incomplete...
Welcome to life...if you can't complete a few pieces of paper, how are you going to benefit Canada. Funny thing is, the news never said why or what wasn't completed. Maybe there was some viable info about himself that he didn't want Immigration to know that would NOT allow him to enter Canada. Food for thought...
And now, our bleeding hearts with this gong show is mixed up with our elections. News flash...we don't need to save people when we can't save ourselves. How many people are out of a job, but yet we will bring in more refugees to give them jobs???
Not to mention, our elections are arguing about (IMO) nothing...Nothing that will make Canada a better place for Canadians. Just another waste of tax payers money. Like saving refugees...

Rant over. Roast me if you like.

So the early response to my post is encouraging. Does this mean the regular guy on Snow and Mud is smarter than Justin Trudeau or Thomas Mulcair?

it's funny how people just run away or expect Canada/USA/Great Britain to solve their problems, these people need to put up a fight and ask for support not run away and expect foreign nations to fix it, phuck I am so sick of funding other peoples problems

If there was an easy solution to stop isis,

Wouldn't you think it was already thought of and done?

The problem with this situation, is that these extremists are very small networking...among regular citizens, innocent people. Unlike Al Qaeda They don't have a "hangout" where they all group together. To send people in to extinguish IS, it is very risky... and not in Obama's agenda.

They are among us in Canada, l was.

Genocide is the moron answer, from people who have no grasp of the consequences.

A successful war on ISIS would have to given a lot of thought. Its no different than the war on the Taliban or Al Qaeda but maybe easier in some respects. They are more brazen and seem to want to fight more in open ground than the others. They are not as smart as the others because they are hook line and sinker bought into the cause. No one will take the lead because we all know the US will be the first country to go boots on the ground and then others will follow. Obama is lame duck right now so nothing is happening till after the US election. He knows his legacy does not want to be tarnished by an American soldier being burned alive or beheaded on Al Jazeera. All I know is something needs to be done before this small group in context turns into Hitlers Nazi army in size.

Every US politician that voted to invade Iraq should be over there cleaning up the mess they made.
They can be the boots on the ground.
Blowing Iraq back to the stone ages is what created all of these groups and hatred towards the west
in the first place.
Now we have a wild fire that no one know's how to put out.

See, i don't think that is quite true.

It's not like they burned civilians..

You have to remember that there are innocent people amongst. Records did show that there were bombings with civilian casualties, but many were harboured.

The U.S. didn't blow Iraq to the ground, they did do technical bombings, and unfortunately, some planted got in the way.

There was a huge development program to return the people to normal lives, and sadly Obama withdrew.

This has to be a rhetorical question because you MUST KNOW that the average regular guy is smarter plus we most likely don't care for the social engineering plans those two have for our beloved country!

It is estimated that 200,000 civilian's were killed during the "occupation" 200,000 is a tiny bit more than "a few".

50% of drone strikes are classified as "signature strikes" ,look up the definition.A signature strike is when they have
no idea as to who the people on the ground are , but they may be combatant's. So ,they are killed............................
( But that's a whole other story)
Basically the government and military was torn to piece's then we withdrew.
Radical's took over now people are running for their lives. That sum's it up IMO.

A lot of this would have been unnecessary if the Iraq people gave a chit about there country and fought back. Most of the weapons ISIS has is from the Iraqi police forces and military dropping there weapons that the US gave them and running when a much smaller force of militants attacked them. You will always see civilian casualties anytime an enemy embeds itself into the civilian population.

They've been fighting from the beginning of time and will continue to fight until the end of time and there aint a damned thing we can do to stop that. What we can do and must do is stop them from bringing it into our back yard.
