never worked in Fort Crack for longer than a few weeks yrs ago when I owned trucks, now im home every night Managing a successful oilfield trucking company......FINALLY, it was 20+ yrs in the making tho!

Just because Alberta has lots of diesels doesn't mean everywhere does. Trucking Companies use card-locks. Companies Costco would buy their fuel by the millions of liters. The cost for them to add another fuel tank, another set of pumps and to have a second tanker truck bring the fuel in. The diesel would have to be higher in price to make up these extra costs.
I don't stop at costco anyways. Waiting 25-30 minutes to save 5 dollars is not worth my time.

Costco in rural BC ie. not Vancouver always has lots of diesel pickups there too.

and my nearest BC Costco just might be in Kelowna. Nearly a 10 hour drive!
i was thinking of this a while back, the only way that costco would sell diesel is to open a truck stop with seperate entrances to it but still walking distance to the main store. most stores now couldnt do this as they dont have the room as is, but if costco sold diesel to truckers via cardlock and cash then it would work

Costco is a global company....... Diesel pickup driving wannabe rockstars is somewhat localized to Alberta, lol. Or looking south of the border, moreso to the oilfield driven States, lol.
I just drive gas rigs.... but then I charge my truck out hourly and could honestly care less about the cost of fuel, lol.

so your saying a global company like costco wouldn't sell diesel at there pumps to cater to small automotive manufacturing companies such as chev, dodge or ford who only produce diesel powered pickups to sell to douchebags only in alberta and only for oilfield use in the lower 48? or.........................
