Good morning, my wife and I each drive canam max xt's. They are snorkeled - except the exhaust. She has a 2013 650 and I have a 2011 800. Any suggestions where to buy exhaust snorkels or ideas on a home build? Thanks in advance.

:welcome: to S&M.

You would be better off to put this post (copy and paste) in the Mud Pit Chat section and start a thread there. There will definitely be more responses. Lots of peeps through there in a day to help you out!

I'm a winter guy and haven't got a clue!

If you get an HMF swamp series muffler, one of the options is a snorkeled pipe about 18 inches tall. 400 bucks or so unless you can get a deal somewhere. I have a an 07 800 Max Xt and I have the BRP Stealth snorkel for the intakes and CVT exhaust but not the exhaust itself. One thing about the V-twin is that it always has good pressure to keep running even under water. Unlike the single cylinder engines that if it bobbles, they can drown rather quickly. Very rare to see anyone snorkle their exhaust, why the concern?

I'm conservative in a way when it comes to fjiording. When semi submergered If I happen to stall then an an exhaust snorkel would make me smile.
