Hi,
I'm a reporter with Valemount's fearless newspaper, the Robson Valley Times. I'm here because I'm looking for information about sled thefts in Valemount and McBride.
There have been quite a few sleds stolen from our area this season. However in the most recent theft from McBride, two Prince George men were caught and their booty recovered. I'm willing to bet that these two were responsible for all of the crimes.
If you've had property stolen from Valemount or McBride recently, or, god forbid, in the future, call me. I want to know about it. You get to vent, and list your equipment that is missing in print, and help us learn important statistics about the thefts. I'm especially hoping to find the guys that managed to recover their own sleds this week.
For instance, did you know that in every theft we've covered so far that a Ford F350 was used?
If you're driving one of these, first call Ford and tell them to fix their trucks, and make sure you've got a security system, a denver boot or a disabler before you go sledding again.
Thanks for your help in advance,
Andru McCracken, Robson Valley Times
