...so I still have lots to learn. But have had a great time so far - even tho I took it up relatively late...in my mid-30s. Joined up because a friend at work recommended this forum. Looking forward to checking things out here.

The last two I just picked up from the States so I haven't ridden them yet. I'm going to try both and keep the one I like the most. The idea is to have a short-track and a long-track in the stable for whatever type of riding conditions are out there (including something to take West to the hills). We'll see how that works out.

Surprize dumps.... na there just gifts from the snow gods.... and all of us that do those crazy snow dances around the sleds when noone is looking..... oops secret is out

thanks, all - going to start tinkering with the shorttrack to make sure I'm ready for any surprise dumps!
