Just throwing out a "hello" from beautiful Bittern Lake. Moved up here a year and a half ago from Calgary and decided to get back into a sled last winter.(first one since 1980) As I'm new here, not sure were to go, trails, etc., decided to go for a used sled to "feel the water" so to speak. Got a 95 Ski Doo Formula Z, with rebuilt engine and drive front to back, extended track and upgraded suspension. Once I figured out how to start the darn thing, its been so cold and lack of snow to go out anywhere but have tooled around the lake a couple of times.

Head back towards Wetaskiwin. Can stag at Gwyenn. Where that big truck is on a stand. Ride lake and creek. Good sled riding or quad/sxs ride on the creek.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about cutting across here and riding South till I hit the river then East to dried Meat Lake. I do see a few huts out on the ice on Coal Lake so will give that try.
