Hi Everyone
im new to this group. I just got my Honda xr650L running that’s been sitting in my garage for the last 10 yrs. Now I want to ride it but don’t know where there are trails open nearby. I am in Sherwood park.

Welcome to snow and mud.
For a couple of good test areas. Where you will come back clean. Try RedWater or Iron Horse.
If your happy to test in the muck, pretty much any other place. Brudlehiem. Stanger hills. Bellis. Westlock.

Also download the free app Wikiloc. It shows some good trails. Where they are at.

Redwater is dry but mainly sand whoops, I like Bruderheim as it has more varied terrain and not really too boggy except down in the creek and and some areas that can be avoided. That said Redwater is officially sanctioned area whereas Bruderheim king of the gray zone for legal riding.
