Good day!

Just joined this sight and live in Centra Alberta. I bought a used 2014 Summit X 163 in February that had 2888km on it and just started mountain riding. I rode twice in the mountains over 20 years ago, can’t believe the difference in sleds! I made it out seven times this past winter, twice on other sleds and five times on my own. Was down to Corbin a few times, Fernie once and Quartz Creek three times. Really looking forward to this winter, hope to get out as much, or more!

welcome from the elk valley. Great sport to be involved in for sure. Corbin is now part of the Fernie snowmobile ass.

Welcome! Where about do you live? Have you taken any avy courses yet? If not Zac tracs is doing one in Fernie that I highly recommend! Maybe we can get out for a ride this winter!

I live north of Calgary. Heard lots of positive comments on Zac Tracs, will have to look into it. I don’t have any training so have been very careful about who I have ridden with. I have friends in friends in Pincher Creek, so will be doing some more riding out at Corbin and Fernie again, I’m sure. And thanks!
