my introduction

Hello everyone. Thought i would join the forum as i have just recently handed down my Honda rancher to my son and have a new 2016 Rancher. Being a parent is great, but being a parent that has a child old enough to ride along and learn new things is even better. Our interests will to explore the Cadomin area in Alberta this year and see were we can end up from there. Being part of this forum i figured i could get some good tips on areas to camp and quad in the Alberta area.

Welcome to the site, like you I ride with my adult son and really cherish the time I spend with him, plus quading is so much more fun and worry free when your out with someone else.
We are in Leduc so we normally stay south of the city and go to Brazeau dam, Alder Flats, and west of Rocky Mountain house, all have awesome off grid camping (for now) and trails galore.
From the Grove area I would think the Edson area would be closer to you but I'm not familiar with camping and quading in that area.
Keep an eye on the mud pit chat room as we normally post when we are going out so we can meet up with other riders.
