Hello, I'm new to snow and mud. I bought myself a M8 last year and got addicted to mountain sledding. (Been riding all my life way up north but just on flat land.) I need a few more people to go riding with so I can get out more often. I live in the Ponoka area. I'd really prefer to ride with guys that have taken an avalanche course. I love to have fun but most important is coming home at the end of the day.

I took the AST1 class and field course last year. I also did a short class rescue workshop aswell. I plan on taking at least the class portion of the AST1 again this year as I feel there was a lot of information to take in.

I'm thinking I'll do the AST2 next year after redoing the ast1 this year. Are you looking for an extra sledder in your group? 😊

Welcome to the site!! There is lots of people here that I'm sure would have no problem with you tagging along. I'm new myself to the mountains this year and taking my AST1 November 11, 12 but I'm unsure yet on the field session. If you like pm me and we could go for a rip around here and when i go out to the mountians we could get a group of newer guys and maybe a few more experienced people togeather and head out for a weekend
