Well boys and girls.

Hunting partner shot this one.

I would have had to shoot my partner to get him.
15 yard shot. Madder than hell. Had a cow with him. She stopped 5 yard in front of me.

Where did you find him, horns are nice and dark

This was a case of the right place at the right time. Posted on a bush line on a quarter of wheat stubble. Watched him walk across the quarter towards me and had to give him the whistle at 40 yards to get him to stop. The muzzleloader took over from there.

Thanks! He come out of the Prince Albert SK area. A great opportunity early in the season. Guess a guy will have to pursue some other game for the rest of hunting season.

Euro mount that beast!

What bullet did you use?

steats and roasts?, or sausage him?

We had a great day on Saturday chasing Grouse. Good sized crew to help tame the bird population! My BIL, cousin and my son and 2 nephews were out. Both older boys bagged birds, my youngest nephew was right in there. Might have to make a place for him to come along again, i think he got the bug!
Saw more than i expected after the results in September. I forgot my phone in the truck, so no pics.:(
Back to back Sprucies (the rooster(?) had a gorgeous red slash above the eye, stunning!) and one Ruffie. Going again next Saturday.
