I never said anything about bow fishing in Alberta. All I said, is that I want to try bow fishing next year.

Thanks guys. Bow shop isn't really a option around here so I'm doing my research until I can get to a bigger center and put one in my hands. Was hoping to stay under $750 but you know how shopping goes.

Compound bows draw length need to be fitted like a shoe size. Some are adjustable, but a press is often required to adjust. You will never be as accurate as you could be if the draw Length is not correct.

Don't think you can bow fish in Alberta, itleast I know you can't spearfish with a speargun. Besides what are you planning of bow fishing in our waters? We don't have Asian carp here..

I was big into archery, but it's about 20 years since then. I worked in a shop before I started up a real career.

Bow fishing was defiantly allowed then, guys would go to wabamum in the winter were the water doesn't freeze and with polarized glasses you could see the fish

I bought a PSE Drive LT ready to shoot package from my local pro shop Exsile Outdoors. Go to a pro shop! You won't get the personal service at whole sale or cabelas. Don't get me wrong, I love both of those stores.
