Mothers "mag & aluminum polish" and elbow grease :D

Sent by my thumbs

I didn't take a photo but I used the Mothers mag polish (little white and red plastic container) with the small Mothers power ball. Took me a couple hours to do my tunnel on a 151" Summit. It was really oxidized (white) and dirty and came out all right. It could look even better if I wanted to spend another couple hours on it but it looks a far cry better than it did and "good enough for the girls I go with" haha.

That is the stuff I used, it took the day doing it by hand. But it sure works good

The trick is to keep it clean afterwords, give it a spray down and wipe on the way home. Just like aluminum wheels it doesn't take long for old mother nature and her buddy-in-crime, salt, to start working their magic again.

Hey Snow Bunny, how'd the polishing of your tunnel go? What did you end up using?

I ended up buying the Mother's Metal Polish with a polishing cone. With a little bit of some elbow grease she started to sparkle up for me. I did such a good job I guess the husband had to try it too so his sled could look just as good as mine. Thank you for all the suggestions, it really wasn't all that hard to do, just time consuming. It was worth it though. I will post some pics when my sled is put back together.
