What month do you think is the best month to become pregnant if you are a She Braaaper?

I'm writing an article.. I'm not trying to become preganant!! Someone get the paddles and revive my husband.

here's my thoughts.. The end of march.. So you have a wicked season.. Tap er cool for late season riding.. Have the baby at the end of December insures you avoid land mines and have time to heal for the good pow. Secure your milk supply so you can pump for days of riding. I had Booger in June, so I was able to ride that next season. Leo I had in mid January, and It took me a bit longer to heal, so I couldn't ride till the end of February. Tater and Sage I had in December so I was riding by January.

What are your thoughts or experiences?

Holy chit, Momma, you really know how to get a guys attention. Hubbies not the only one gonna need paddles around here.
January seemed to be a good month for us as the boys were born in late August and mid sept.
Good luck with your research.

End of sept or first week of oct is not really good. Slowed my wife down a little she only got (i think) 15 days of riding in that year. Our child was born at the end of march he Wasn't supposed to be here till the end of June. If we would have known this. It would been the beginning of may and pop him out in mid oct.
I'd say, get it by the goalie when you can! If you can't, get someone who can! Lol.

I just read the article Momma -- and though I am a male and long past the age of wanting more kids; my kids are grown and starting their own sledding adventures; My wife was active during her pregnancies -- we never had this type of article in the time when my kids were incubating -- you really nailed it! There has always been so much fear and old wives tales related to pregnancy that it is great to see a modern perspective that is realistic. Fun doesn't end at pregnancy -- just be careful and use common sense.

A lot of common sense stuff in your writing and a huge amount of wisdom. I can imagine fellow Betties taking that article to their Family Physicians and asking them for a pass to continue to shred.

Very well done -- Kudos! Keep up the good work and writing - you are an asset to the sledding community.

There are many of us out there. Sometimes Babies simply happen. Sometimes we plan. Either way they are an incredible blessing. Point being, many women out there are not, and were not aware that they could have their Pow filled Cake and Eat it too. Pregnancy can be fun and full of excitement and adventure within safe perameters. We can still keep shredding. Which is why I wrote the article above. Shadam, pass the article on if you know any she shredders who are considering pregnancy.
Thank you!
