you mean the guy that rides a million days a year or the other guy that rides a million days a year? ya dont listen too them thats dumb! or the same guy that took a pro out for 3 straight days expecting to love it and didnt. he must be wrong aswell and he didnt even like the xp before!!

dont knock it till you have tried it.

i think your taking my post incorrectly. im not saying the pro or the cat is a BAD sled. what im saying is shes comfortable on the xm so why fawk with that.

im in no way saying one cant spend a week and become a super star on another sled. but whyyyyy waste that time. maybe if your going to gain something but your not. all your going to gain by TRYING to learn the pro rmk is saving 500$ on the purchase price and then losing 2000 to do upgrades to it. JMO

I said don't listen to Maxwell as a joke- in case you haven't noticed, I throw you under the bus whenever possible. Doesn't mean I don't like you, I just think its funny the way you think poking fun at Poo's is funny! Don't listen to the other guy (TMOcrankynumbers) cuz he is being surly... Friend of yours, by chance?

I think you took my post incorrectly. I actually suggested (and weirdly, agree with you) that if her instinct was to choose the XM bcz it was easiest out of the gate, not to ignore that feeling. I ignored my instinct and now have to figure out a way to swap wraps and steal my husband's ASSAULT before he gets home :)

So did I :(

Shocks, track, ski stance, longer a-arms and different attack angle. It actually sits a bit taller...

I cant explain the difference in feel... The RMK feels like it pivots in a line when turning- kinda like a gate swinging whereas the ASSAULT feels like it actively turns around the line of your body/steering post. Bottom line is that it turns tighter with alot less effort and digs way harder in the powder...

Maybe I need to try an assault too. I know they don't have the belt drive and that's one of the differences.

wow impressive! How do you pull that off he who knows all? Seems to me you ride your keyboard the most! Not sure where you find the time? Do you share all your knowlage at the same time as you ride your million days a year?

Just some fun banter before I go for a ride, snowed all night! I will say you are very lucky and brave to get to try so many new sleds, I am always a little more easy on any sled that is not mine, seen that go wrong to many times! Wish I would have done what you are before I bought mine, you never know till you try, you are right on there! Good luck finding one that fits.

It's supposed to be sunny towards the end of the week right? Oh man that fresh snow would be great. I am really lucky to try these new sleds. I am absolutely a bit more timid on borrowed stuff than my own obviously, but it still gives me a good feel. And to be honest I was only really uncomfortable if it felt awkward to ride. The XM just felt so natural.

Still looking forward to testing out that Pro some more. :)

Oh and have fun riding!!! Do some turns for all of us that are stuck at work!!

I thought this was going to be a thread about bi-sexual sledders?!?!?!?!?

Great, unbiased comparison Rowdy! Some of my buddies have been demo'ing sleds, and the XM keeps coming out on top. i'm looking forward to checking it out myself :)

We had a couple pretty impressed Polaris Pro riders at our Kuster ride last weekend Rowdy. They both ran there demo XM's out of fuel, loved the power and actually felt the XM was easier to initiate into a tip. One has asked for pricing when the 2014 models are released. I was surprised to say the least.
