I will start...feel free to post the pics and tell the story's that go along with them.

This one was a chute climb I did on my 2010 Demo M8 from TnTpowersports. All was well until my jacket hooked my throttle at the top of the chute while I was stopped. I was jolted forward flipping over my hood, the sled then rolled and the track hooked my back pack. I barrel rolled down the chute (300 verticle feet) attached to my track. I got free at the bottom after my track burned a hole thru my pants, fleece and under armor to my leg!! Enjoy!!

Here is the results of being bucked off my 2012 Pro Climb demo from TnTpowersports last season. Climbed a real rough slope and rolled over, was pinned under the sled between the front down hill spindle and board!! But...the sled never rolled down the slope...ha ha

Well this was my most recent 'war' wound.. 2012 Snow & Mud Jamboree... dont ask...but yes, it was caused from my bike, despite the fact the burn is clearly on the left and my pipe is on the right side of the bike...

Yikes! That looks very tender.
Glad you are ok :)

Did you not have a tether on?
I heard a story of someone getting their arm amputated by the track. :(

Yup...sure did have a tether on!! The way I flipped over the front and then rolled to the side the tether stretched but never did pull out! I wasn't actually far enough away for it to come out!!

These wounds are from my quad crash at the snowandmud jamboree 2011. I was going down a gravel road on my 1998 400 scrambler and the 4 wheel drive was acting up it was jolting my steering to the right. I was going really pretty fast and I was slowly drifting into the right hand ditch. When I realized that I was really close to the ditch it was to late. I had 2 choices go into the grassy ditch or possibly roll on gravel. I chose the ditch, as I was hitting the ditch I seen barbed wire and lucky I didnt hit it but was thrown off my machine and thrown into trees on my back I was really lucky that I didnt get hurt worse.I also strained a tendon in my left knee and floaters in my right knee. The scratch on my neck is from my necklace, the mark on top and side of my lip is from a peice of my helmet that broke off, the mark on my shoulder front and back is from a tree. Thanks to Mattmedic and Jeepchick who took care of me and got me well enoung to passanger that night and ride the next day. I rode the next day on my boyfriends 650 Arctic Cat.

I'm beginning to think that Quad is cursed. The buggy the engine went into was about a foot away from wrapping sideways around a pole last night....Bent frame and axle from the impact!

This was back awhile ago when I first bought my Suzuki LTR 450 Racer .. Went a little too fast through some tall grass and ended up in a speed wobble and cartwheeled 5 times while still hanging on and when I let go I landed on my elbow shattered it broke the tip of the bone right off. It is now held together by 7 screws and 2 plates .. Go big or go home right ladies?

I have a wicked scar on my elbow now, always a conversation sparker!

I unfortunately don't have pics, but my 2nd or 3rd time riding my first dirt bike, a Yammy TTR, out at my Dad's place in Nordegg I busted up my clavicle pretty good... I decided to hit a little jump (because i'm the type that loves catching air..as a youngster I rode horses and did show jumping..) so naturally anything else I ride (bike, snowboard, my buddies sleds/quads, etc) I look for something to jump.. lol, well BAD idea when its your 2nd time on a dirt bike in gnarly terrain. Lost control obviously, was bucked off heading towards the trees, but I hadn't yet learned to bail when a situation gets sticky so I was still hanging on for dear life and when the front tire of my bike hit the ground and the handle bars were turned, my clavicle (collarbone) and the right handle bar jammed pretty hard together during the impact.. it busted my clavicle, didn't break but it kinda dislocated it a little bit. I also had the wind knocked out of me and was 'out of it' for a while, hit my head pretty hard. When I finally came out of it, and started being able to breath I didn't know what had happened.. Boyd was there freaking out trying to take my helmet off as i'm gasping for air. I then realized how much fawkin pain I was in and I could barely move my neck/arms. We were a long way's a way from home and I had no choice but to get back on and ride the bike back... I was absolutely terrified and shaken at this point, and not to mention in a lot of pain. The terrain was wet, slippery and not at all good for a beginner but I somehow managed to ride back, basically with one hand while I tried not to move my left arm at all.. yes I was in tears, Boyd yelling at me telling me what an idiot I am, etc etc .. LOL. When I got back to my Dad's place, my entire neck region was black and blue. I SHOULD have had surgery to fix my clavicle, but I decided to leave it... so I have a slightly bent clavicle.... my war wound lol, and a lot of occasional neck pain.

Fast forward two bikes and two years later.. at an MX track with my KTM, after several laps I hit a table top and as I land I somehow managed to spin out, hit the ground pretty dang hard and I couldn't even tell you what the hell happened but I was on the ground, my bike on top of me and i'm skidding, my hand is still on the throttle and my back tire is ripping the fawk out of my leg. Once the dust cleared and I managed to shut my bike off, me and the bike were facing the jump, so somehow spun back around. I had road rash on the left side of my body in several places, I sprained my ankle, and I had a gash in my leg from my back tire.

I've had several other little minor injuries on the bike, and I also managed to fracture my ankle snowboarding (Yup.. from jumping! lol) but each injury has taught me valuable lessons, and I definitely learn from them. I wouldnt be the rider I am today if I had not have taken the chances and risks. I've even injured myself pretty badly as a young girl jumping horses, and I was always right back on going for it again. Nothing like being flung from a 1200lb animal into a fence at top speed lol. I'm sure lots of people know what I'm talking about that the feeling of 'flying' is just such an adrenaline rush.. keeps you going back for more! :)

And no.. by flying I'm not talking about doing supermans off the bike into mud bogs.......

Lol, not sure how winning I was at the time when my Dad had to peel me out of the grass.. But to look back at it now it's kinda funny and at least now I know what surgery feels like! Ready for the next time I go a little too big :p
