Headed out to Boulder this weekend to have one last ride...and what a great one it was!! Amy Enns attempted the Monster chute again and totally rocked her way through some nasty debris. Her turns in the gut were flawless and made my heart pound just watching her get closer and closer to the top! Conditions were not very favorable, the chute was rough and she lost valuable speed bouncing her way through. Got a little too high in her turn at the top and tried her best to side hill out but the snow was just not allowing it. Quick thinking she aimed for the trees and was able to hook her ski on one preventing her from tumbling all the way from the top to the bottom! She was only 20 ft from the top! What a great effort Amy, you will have her next time!!!! :d Anyone that has been to the top of Monster can aprreciate the technical ability it takes to muscle your sled through that top part, it is definantly not just your "point and shoot" climb!!AMAZING JOB!!!!
Fuji made a wicked climb through the Arm, and all in all was just a GREAT weekend. This year I was very fortunate to have meet some really amazing people and make some really good friends along the way I cant thank you all enough for the support and encouragement that was shown throughout the year! I also cant thank enough my riding group Shane,Neils,Phil,Capt, Lairdo, Dad, Jimmy an the boys (too many to list haha but thank you all!) your coaching at the bottom of the chutes was key in my ability to top any of those bad boys! So with great sadness I say goodbye to this season, and start the countdown till we all can meet again on the snowy hills!!!
