Alright I gotta say something here before the selfrightousness implodes taking the site down with it......

My mother never smoked.... My full time babysitter did..... My grandparents did (on both sides) aunts, uncles ect ect ect...... I grew up in houses which were full of cigarett smoke, sleeping, eating, playing ect.....

I smoke.... I do not smoke in my house is also my childrens house...

My car is my car.... I do not hot box the car, my window is down and my fan is set to the defrost/windshield setting.... My kids can't even tell when I'm smoking and when I'm not, even if they could 5 mins a week worth of highly diluted cigarette smoke hardly constitutes child abuse.... I'm awefully glad my windows are tinted and you can't tell when my kids are in the car because I swear to god if you tried to "Yank this stupid cow" from his car you would end up with a perminent BMW tatoo on your self rightious azz.

Just sayin............

The problem is, it's hard to know who is smoking with windows closed and killing their kids by them breathing in the smoke, and those who don't. If some idiot wants to do it to their own kids....I don't bother them. But if someone ever smoked in a vehicle my kids were in, they would wish the smoke killed them already. And, it's still harmful to them. Open up your dash one day and look at the vents they will be covered in ash. You can still smell it months and months later in the vehicle, and smoke left on seats, etc is still harmful. I wouldn't ever look at buying a vehicle that was smoked in and always check. And, they ARE worth less.

Personally, I don't want to smell it or see it. One day i'm going to snap and throw a bud at someone face that litters it.....or lite it again and throw it back into their car.

If you want to smoke whatever, but keep it to yourself. I don't want to see or smell it

It is hard to know...thats why it's not your problem ...
Subjecting kids to it in thier home is something I won't do...but others do and I don't condemn them for it, as I said I was raised in households full of second hand smoke... the occasional exposure isn't going to kill anyone, no worse than pecticides on schoolyard playgrounds, gas/diesel exhaust, fallout from the local plantsite cooling towers ect.ect ect.... Hazards are everywhere threatning violence on someone who may expose your child to a couple sniffs of cigarette smoke is a douche-canoe attitude.... I suppose you support the whole issue of the government being able to tell a private establishment OWNER that they are not allowed to permit smoking within their OWN establishment, or the war vets who fought for our freedom that they can't smoke in thier legion... WCB was used as ammunition against freedom of choice in that situation... your entitled to your beliefs... but if you think that second hand cigarette smoke is the biggest health threat your children face your sadly mistaken....

No if people want to smoke in private places, homes whatever I don't care. As far as establishments....i'm both sides. I think they should have the freedom to choose if they want it or not but I am sure happier to not have to worry about smoking when i'm in a bar or lounge. Most places were happy in the end, because they got MORE business. I have family that smokes, I hate it so much I won't even be around them because I won't put up with the smoke. I refuse to work near people who smoke. It's for health, and I just HATE the smell. So the big reason my kids will never be around it is I won't be around it.

I know it's not the biggest risk or even close, but it's preventable and NO reason for it. My 20 month old nephew was exposed to it.....and I couldn't believe how much different he acted for a few hours after. I can tell you, it is the first and last time he will be around someone who smokes. They weren't even smoking around him it was just them smelling after.

WCB is a joke plain and simple.

And all that is fine...it's your choice, You are not one of the subjects my reaction focused on..... as far as most places getting more business, not sure on that one...I think the freedom to choose would result in the best option....Many of us who smoke quickly gave up on going to bars opting for garage parties...cheaper AND we can choose whether to smoke or not, but thats neither here nor there.... My response was in reaction to someone telling me they would like to drag me out of my vehicle and "show me"........

Opinions are like azzholes everyone has one...many women have two....but to publicly state that your opinion is right and everyone else deserves an azz kicking is fugged.... GOT COMMUNISM????????
