yes dosen't matter if it is registered or not it will work.

I am trying to figure out this registration thing.

If I bought a unit from someone that had the SD card with the backroad B.C. maps in it, will I be able to view my routes and stuff on my home computer... like editing and such??

The site is quite vague. I have a opportunity to buy a unit that has the mapping, but I am not sure if I want it if it's not going to do everything.. Is there a key when you register?
