I use a combo of the garmin topo Canada and the back roads. The garmin map is good, but the back roads has a ton more info and trails. But the garmin is better for the topo deffanition when viewing on the computer

Just bought the Alberta backcountry map SD Card from Garmin at Whloesale Sports $150 and it has majority of the sled trails for Alberta. There was a BC/ Alberta one for $250, couldn't justify as I don't ride enough in BC.

I put the backroads mapbook on when I bought it. I think it was $90.

Ensure you register the unit and do software upgrades with Garmin then all Topo features will work. Figured that out today!
