Very nice kit. Wanted to share some pictures.
Just need to load my maps and I am ready to break trail to all my favourite places with out having to pull the gps out of the box. That sure solved a first world problem!

Thanks,
Yah, did my research and they aren't. Saw them at wholesale outfitter and you can also buy the wilderness map as an extra. Supposably has some sled maps in it.

You can purchase the combo Alberta/BC Backroad GPS Maps, (Outdoor Recreation Maps), on the Micro-SD cards and there is quite a few Snowmobile trails on them.

i bought the bc alberta card from GPS city in Calgary. Very cool. It has a lot of destinations. I was surprised that there were some sled trails very close to my house that I never knew about.

I Installed mine yesterday. I only bought the dock from BRP and the GPS and Maps from GPS city. I saved about $150 by doing it that way, although I only opted for the Montana 600 instead of the Montana 650 (not sure what BRP is offering with their kit). The system looks pretty sweet. Hopefully it survives a rollover!!!

What is the other gauge set that you have on the handle bars for?

It's a combination Air/ Fuel, Boost gauge. I have a turbo.

nice It has taken all my restraint to not buy a turbo kit. No one in my group has one so for me it does not make sense. I will keep working them!

I was the first in my group to get one now two more are pulling the trigger this year. One guy said riding my sled last year ruined his season. He actually quit riding in March.

Does this GPS mount kit restrict the ability to use the front storage bin above the gauge pack? Is there much to completing the install? I have the Montana GPS out of my Commander Limited and it looks like this could be a reasonable solution to mount it on my new X.

There is the one wire but it's tied out of the way. The kit actually doubles the capacity of the glove box, the whole front panel folds down giving you lots of room.

The install takes about 45 mins and involves a little drilling but nothing major.

Thanks. I assume the wiring is just plug and play, as well?

Could not be easier. It comes with a wiring harness that plugs in to above the headlight. The harness seems to add some even more functionality. There are two power plugs an av plug and another connector plug. All the drill locations are per marked.
