So did you get the mount to place it on the glove box extension or are you going to handle bar mount?

got the mount that's shown by brp however got the ram set up and is a plate in it that bolts right up to the brp holder with 4 screws and lock nuts...will follow same lead as shown earlyer to handle bar mount..will see if l can do it without drilling it..may be able to get a plate in there for backing

So I decided to mount a different route....I hate high windshields and the brp mount system I didn't trust as my sled rolls alot. I like my handle bars clean as I always have a bag there. Mounted it low. Covers bar switches some but easily dealt with imo.

I'm really curious about the wire that you said plugs into a spot behind the head light. Did you have to splice anything or did it just plug into a plug that was there?

u run a tether for a just in case?

Love it there. Got the mount from BRP so it is always charged up. I have a fishing leader attached but knock on wood it stays put. (i never dig a sled out and always roll it)

Built a nice little stainless steal plate underneath for a good tight clamp.

so looks like you don't have the swivel feature, just bolt the amp mount to the sled.

I don't worry about it. Never look at it unless stopped anyway. Swivel=weak point in my eyes

Did you get it figured out yet? I will have mine out again this week end. I can not wait. Need to geotag some photos of decision points this trip. Sometimes having all the tech seems like too much work but it does offer a lot of additional functionality.
