Bush maps is just a over lay on top of topo Canada with more info added.
In order to run bush maps it needs topo as a base mapping .

I am not sure. I just installed the mini sd card and go.

It's all I need..

We rode from rig street, had a great ride

I ride there from the Boundary Store. We camp there seasonally at that campground. Nice ride good view. Popular spot. I use Backroad Maps on my GPS I like it a lot. I haven't used any other software.

alberta was $135 , bc was $135, and they have an albert/bc combined for $245 at gps city. on sale right now. plus was also looking at the oregon 450 gps at $199

i would like to get out this weekend to see how it is. around the home area it is fairly good, but mainly only county roads and oilfield well access.

What are you using for the Big Picture???

not using a computer if your asking about downloads. have the garmin topo on the puter, biggiest problem with the topo crap is it did not
show pipelines etc. or trails. A year or so ago, we got out a few miles had a couple breakdowns, and dave b looked at his gps and kept telling us we had to go back the way we came. Which was impossible, it was a good thing Don G had his gps and figured the main pipeline from southfork south was only a few hundred yards away, saved our bacon. We would still be out there otherwise! So i decided to quit fooling around with junk and get something with some info on it. So far it is good, haven't been out in the bush. bushmaps that arff has looked good also.

Looking for the GPS maps for Garmin Rhino, looking to ride the McBride area. Renshaw, Belle, Lucille, don't know the area at all would be nice to have the GPS to rely on a bit. Does anyone know where a guy could find the maps to those riding areas?

Search for Ibycus Topo. Free download although he appreciates a donation.

The ibycus Can Topo V 4 doesnot have the Roads/trails on it for this area. Garmin's MapSource Can Topo V4 does.
What model is your Rhino? Will it take the Data Cards ?

Bruce.

I've just started using it, and don't have a ton of time invested into it yet... The model is the rhino 650 I believe it does take data cards. I will check into Garmin's Mapsource. Thank you!
