Hey that’s prolly close to what turbo killer speed is the way she ran this year!

55mph is ripping. The boat is so nice I’d have to just sit in it in my garage and admires.
How much does it weigh?
How much weight will you pack?
How much fuel will it hold?

Hope it can haul lots of weight, I am going to make him pack my extra fuel lol

Always knew those things were heavy but man that's a lot. I've always hated meeting the big Firefish boats in my mini because they throw huge wakes, the weight sure explains it. Few guys and a cooler and a Hammerhead is well over 5,000lbs running the river.

Apparently Firefish is building a 16' Piranha setup for the 300 hp Rotax pump and motor. I'd bet that would be close to 1000 lbs lighter yet than a V8 Convict. If I were to build another boat I think that's what I would get.

No different than a Custom weld or a weldcraft there is a thread on "people that would rather jetboat than work" with all the weights.

How are you liking it Chrisco? Do you find that it has enough room for you, now that you have downsized?

Yup I love it its perfect for what we do, you can feel the -960 lbs for sure its super responsive, quick , burns less fuel and with just 2 of us in the boat most times don't really notice it being shorter. Still a **** ton of storage for camping trips, 100 liters less fuel but didnt change the range all that much. Comes out of the hole like a fkn rocket lol just lifts straight up and goes. Really happy with it !!!!! but......... they always can be improved so will see over the next season what we can make better and build a new one !!!

That’s great to hear. Should be able to run just a shallow as the mini’s? Maybe the best of both worlds? Let us know when you are. Down the braz, rocky or red deer way. Like to see it run as well.
