Reading through posts it looks like I'm not the only one who will never grow up. I'm curious what you guys are running so post 'em up.

I'll start:

20130505_080212_zps3e27fd49.jpg
From left to right:

Losi five-t: oneill brothers racing 30.5cc reed case motor, hemistorm penta body
HPI wr8 flux: 3s lipo, bone stock, currently broken haha
Custom built toyota rock crawler: built from scratch from the ground up, brushless, 3s lipo
HPI slash 4x4: castle 2400kv brushless set up, goes like hell..Maybe a little too good lol.

Like I said, I'm curious what the rest of you have so post up some pics and details :)

I am mostly into the planes. I have mainly sport-type planes and a few 3D planes that I don't really have the skills to fly effectively....but I crash with spectacular results! LOL All my planes are lipo-powered electric....a couple go over 100 (real, not scale) mph. Got a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 over the winter and it's pretty fun. It came with a brushless set-up so I upgraded to 3s lipo so now I am very practiced at changing axles. I have a set of steel axles that are going to go in after I go through my supply of cheap stockers. Bought a couple of different bodies and wheel/tires for it.

Ahh yes...Planes. I bought a super cub, flew it for a bit...wrote it off. No amount of 5 minute epoxy was bringing that thing back to life. Bought another one, forgot to cut the anti-crash garbage out of it, crashed it in about 3.5seconds....Had a meltdown and now the plane sits on the shelf haha.

As for that stampede...On 3s the stock motor will probably crater at some point in time. You could either go with a castle set up or another stock motor is only about $80.

Also, that's alotta planes haha.

Super Cub is a great trainer. Packing tape and 5 min epoxy and she'll fly forever. We and my bud both started with those....my first flights were in the "count on one hand seconds" category as well. Hahaha

here's a couple of mine, E-Revo and a Slash. bought them both from a buddy whose kid used to race them, his kid was pretty successful at it. the revo is bulletproof, it was raced until they stopped the monster truck class and changed to truggies. he gave me 2 Rubbermaid tubs of spare parts for both machines. I run it on 4s lipo on the flat ground and 6s in the sand pits. the slash I grabbed for my kids so they wouldn't want to try my revo. I have since bought another brand new E-Revo for my oldest boy, left it stock running on nimh until he can control it better. my buddy's kid has got out of the RC racing all together since he discovered pu$$y so I will be picking up a few more this summer....lol.

Dave, you fly with Ercs? Or are you a club member anywhere?
I just fly gassers now. Pretty much 3d only. Tried some imac stuff, flying a line can drive a man to drink... More.
Gotta dust of my stuff haha ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367775225.188475.jpg

You sir, would get along greatly with my dad! We counted all the planes he has in his loft and he has about 18 built and about 7 in a boxes and also has stencils and layouts for all the ones he has, in case they crash! I got a plane, a homemade hydroplane boat and a traxxas tmaxx 3.3!

I'm a past member of MMFA and my dad still sits on the exec there. All my airplane stuff is in his basement and apparently is now up for sale lol.

Used to have a 5b but it just wouldn't hold together for me...The losi ran perfect when it was stock but now I'm having issues with the new motor.

I got an HPI Savage x 4.6 with a pipe, billet a arms, and stronger and faster steering servos. And a custom cage instead of the plastic bodies and got a few plastic bodies to. Got no pictures though. That will give me a reason to dust it off. And I am looking at getting a crawler for around the camp when camping!
