Some kind of excited to see where this is going!
I think I owe you a few beers Darcy for all the updates and tips on areas. Get your snow dance on so we can get out there soon!

Right on. We tried finding it one time when it was all socked in. It buried way back in the trees isn't it?

Winner! Lol
Yup still a cabin up McDonald.

Only in there once, with the gf to snowboard as ski hill was falling apart. But I had to poke around with safety in mind being by myself. Pano, can you shoot over the ridge directly north of the cabin? (so directly where the flag I point). Or is that the end of what is there to sled other then the trailhead that Y'd?

You can get above the cabin, (looking at the cabin right side) via the trail and then up What is called the heli run.
The west face of the bowl (beyond cabin) is high avy area, local got caught in one a few years ago. There is not a lot big climbs but you can wiggle around in the trees.
Mostly snowboard terrain up there.

No glacier access from Paradise Basin. Catamount glacier is accessed via Forster and it is closed until December1.
North Star is closed to sleds permanently.

Isn't there an area you can get to when you drop over the ridge at paradise. To the east of the cabin and up to the top at that lookout point? Is that the back end of McDonald creek?

You can go over the back in the summer and come out in Bruce creek drainage. To get to MacDonald you would need to cross This and Law creek drainage.
These two drainage don't have much for sled terrain.

This is looking west up Bruce creek. Big peak in the back is Mt Nelson.
