It looks like some of us are swapping out the seats or radically changing them. I found that they are heavy, too low, log water and the crap vinyl cracked. so one night on a whim i just ripped the cover off and was forced too redo it, i cut the trunk off and trimmed the foam, i bought some 2" memory foam and marine neoprene (stretchy and waterproof-ish) and some fabric glue. Set up in the garage and got it done, the seat turned out awsome. probably less than half the weight and sooooo comfy specially thru the wooped out trails, nice to throw a knee on, its profile is smaller altho higher yet its not in the way anymore when tryin to thro a leg around for balance and best of all the neoprene stretches so its seamless. maybe $50 worth of materials and 2hrs time, not bad. Also the summit seat was all plastic not wood which is nice if your going to look for a new base.
