No i dont get paid for what i do on here at all.. What i do on here is just give people honest straight up info.. No bullcrap involved at all.. If they wish to come to our shop for something great if not then that is fine to.. There are somethings that we have figured out for sleds that people will need to come in and see us just because thats the way it is... For example if you have a M1000 that is turbo'd and it's blown up like a feew of the kits that i've heard of, then yah you'll have to come in or call me.. this is because why should i give everyone the fix for it, and it's an easy one.. See you seem to think that i'm just on here to advertise, well you couldn't farther from the truth if you tried.. I enjoy chatting about sleds and if i can help someone out with an issue that they are having or direct them to somewhere to find a proiduct that they are looking for great, even if it isn't at SPECIALTY....

The fix is a cutler in tank fuel pump, cutler dual throttle bodies, and supreme tools secondary. Dual throttle bodies set the m1000 turbo straight. Dale Cutler at Cutlers performance is a genius to talk to. also the kits require wiseco pistons, instead of stock. enjoy.

Oh yah.. I hear you there.. But now that the aero charger 66 series hyperturbo's are going to be redally available i think that the two-stroke turbo thing wil be alot bigger... The aerocharger 66 kit for a rt1000 doo only weighs 34lbs.. Thats the whole kit with packing in the box still... Are you running stock throttle bodies on the turbo m1000?

So, you're adding 34lbs to an already heavy sled...and you say two-stroke turbos are a thing of the future...yet yammy's have the advantage in reliability....and very similar in weight with the RTon.

Ah, i think you forget the fact there are a few things that you remove.. Like the WHOLE air intake system, exhaust can.. So you are losing weight before you add anything.. And the RT's arew still a bit lighhter than the Yamma tanks..And i'm starting to question the reliability thing, cause i've heard of a few yamm's having motor problems this year.. And i could completely grenade like 3 800 mtotrs for the price of one yamm rebuild on a nytro. A guy was in the shop and thought that he blew the motor on his nytro.. But lucky for him it ws just a dropped valve, but still cost like 4500.00 to fix and the ytold him that if it was a motor it'd have cost him like 9000.00 Crazy...

You have to account for the fact that there are many more yammy turbos out there right now than two smokes. So you hear about a few problems...so what? There's tons of them out there that work fine. Now...how many two smokes will blow up and how many are out there?....we'll see...not bashing...just putting this out there. :)

Yah, but they have been turboin two strokes for years on sleds, it's relatively new on the four stroke sleds.. I dont have anything against the four stroke idea. I just cant grasp my mind around the whole weight issue...

I agree, I ride a m7t that is 30lbs lighter than the one m1t glengine speaks of and also do all my riding with that particular individual. We can't out run the stage 2 and 3 boosted apexs, but we also do not need mac truck to help us get unstuck. We are going down to yammy days in Revvy to hook up with Reebec and give the Monster a go in the back of boulder. We will get a good inclination of how these two stroke turbos really work against the turbo yammies.

Hangin' with Chad and Dad sounds like fun.

So i hear mrcoops is lookinto go over to the darkside?? Yammatonne.. Well i guess if the m1000t gets it's new mods over the summer you will need more power.. A M1200 with BIG boost..

Typical turbo!!!!!:D

Not a typical modern turbo, maybe something that was built in the late 90's.......talk to the guys running ball bearing blowers and BOVs. Also, if the turbo starts spooling before engagement with moderate boost levels, lag is not really an issue. You learn to ride around it because when you're doing 40-50 mph up a hill and have to turn, there is no choice but to let off the throttle. Don't get me wrong I love a good big bore, but the new turbos are light years ahead of the old ones in terms of rideability.

....BUT BALLPARK FIGURE ON THE TURBO KIT?? $2000, $3000, $4000??? CLOSE?:confused::confused:

$8000 depending on how far you want to go with it. The kits are about $6000 not installed. Worth every penny IMO. :)

There are even guys putting turbo's on the 1200's now to... I like!!

Yes, if you want to go all the way, talk to Don at D&D (or Brent Linderman (Arctic Edge)). Don put a turbo on his 1200 if I remember right, made 400 HP on the dyno or something like that.

Who makes a BIG BORE for the m-1000???
Cutler performance makes a 1300 it's a complete kit go on there website cpcracing.com huge torque I have one on my 08 1000 and put 3000 miles no issues

Cutler also makes a 1300cc that is suposed to be crazy power. They actually give you new jugs and pistions so you keep your stock ones just in case.
