Exclamation Retired CR500 rider..

Just saying HI!
We are heading to McBride on Friday August 29th 2008 after work. Going up the renshaw and then across the Hwy to the Dore River.
Look for us in a Triple E motor coach and a shiney silver GMC Dually with a camper on it. Two Grizz and two Cats. Feel free to come along. Bring winter gear..brrrr

Re: Retired CR500 rider..

We did it! started out in Grande Cache on Saturday Aug 30, and did Compton, Hamel, caw ridge, then headed for repair on Tuesday in Hinton. Just a broken shock.
Clemina on Thursday, Canoe on Friday. Saturday Small river Caves, and on Sunday the back side of Holmes over looking Small River!! met up with one of the Loggers, and he was fantastic! He was out on Sunday with his wife and some other people and he was very helpful. We never got his name, but he was a seriously class act and changed our mind about the logging contractors on the Holmes Road out of McBride. We finished off with a tour of the back side of the renshaw but it was so grown in with willows that it kinda sucked. hey..Any day riding...is better than whatever.

So we saw 8 mountains in 8 days and we took tons of video for You tube, and we stayed off the Alpine. No damage other than a couple shock repiars because of an extreme lift kit in one of the cats. Oh..and my pride a few times, but life is like that. We all think we have the best, or ride better until we screw up. But then we would have nothing to talk about next time would we? Feel free to catch some videos.."hobiretired".
