 |  New and needing some help yeah just got a free 05 honda 400fa with the auto and esp and it will crank and go into gear but wont come out of 1st and the esp light flashes and when goes into reverse has lil to almost no power just tring to get it back into the mud. thee old owner is rich and didnt want to try and fix just got a new one and this is a new atv with only 300 miles on it. i need help he told me he sunk and it started doing that... |

| Re: New and needing some help Welcome to the site  My friend had a ruby 500 and it did the exact same thing and it was the "angle sensor" that went. There is a way to reset the computer so it goes away but the problem will come back again untill the sensor is replaces. Let us know what you find out. Good Luck.
