need advice

i bought a 96 polaris 600 triple and rode it for 10 min when the engine tried to seize we think it burned a bearing should i replace the motor or fix it?

Silly to make that call before you open her up and survey the damage.

I just finish rebuilding 600 triple in nov08 .If you need to rebuild the motor
don't be scare to do it.I manage to get after market parts from Cycle works
west rebuilt crank piston and cylinders new oil gear gaskets cost appox $1200
But be very carefull pulling the mag the mag cost $400 alight heat before you
pull it not ahard job just time consuming.clutch side is known to seize do your
checks before you tear it down.Hope this helps
