| Re: Tailgate Cable Break had same thing happen to me with my 98 dodge,you need to check the cables and replace if they look bad. if in doubt replace them anyway.hurts like hell. when the four wheeler lands on you.

| Re: Tailgate Cable Break My Ole man had that recall done on his truck too < 07 2500 dura classic.. along with some cooling lines, plugged egr apparently ( blamed it on farm fuel ) and some other odd and ends truck is great other than those things.. Ive had more problems with my 06 cummins
