straight pipe

I was wondering what you guys think about straight pipe in 2003 dodge deisels ?

sorry guy i put state pipes instead of straight pipe for the thread title .

Fixed the title & thread up for ya 'bigdogg'. the straight pipe on anything is kind of loud when you walk on it.... Not for me, I like a nice sounding exhaust, Just don't care for the straight pipe sound.

I agree, no need to run with out a muffler.
There are some systems that offer the same gains without the noise polution.... not being a prude, just facing the facts as they are in 2008.

YA just do it. The 3RD gen dodges are not that loud compared to the older dodges. I did my buddys and its quieter than my 5" on my truck with a muffler. Just a thought for ya. And its a 4" pipe around 26.5"long to put in place of the muffler if i remeber right. I got another chip for a 03 if your lookin for one. PM me if you interested.
