sled doesnt wanna role after hard ecceleration

Have been feeling that the sled sometimes isn't rolling freely. Usually notice it after hard pull for 1/2 mile or so.. even blew the old track a few weeks ago. Mind you, it was the original and I noticed it was missing afew clips and most others were almost worn through. Rubber in between some clips appeared worn and in a few cases it had gone down to canvis. if thats whats in there? Since new track I run much looser, as I am not with studs anymore .Every:confused thing seems ok but I think it did it the other day, again after a good long pull. Am confident all bearings are good as I was just in the chain case and had inspected opposite bearings?????? any ideas.... the sled runs great but feels slometimes like its being held back?????

Sliders getting too hot???? Track too tight>>.....??? After you pull for half mile are you facing UP a Hill??........If it's down to a bearing problem it would be all the time.

Your riding on hard pack (lake/ trail) and not getting enough lube from snow and melting steel clips to sliders. Install ice scratchers or even graphite or hyperfax sliders to help. Seen guys last weekend whose 1 sled wouldnt move after awhile, they were prying the track from sliders with sticks!!!

Is the held back feeling after you go on a hard pull and slow down or stop, then accelerate again? Or is that sympton when your in the pull.? If it's the latter forget my quess I misunderstood you.
