May Long Weekend Plans

So it's the first long weekend of Summer (sort of) May 19/20/21.

Me, I'm off to the lake for the weekend with the family and some friends and a large selection of wobbly pops. No real plans though - play some cards, hoist a few, chase a golf ball or two etc and maybe do a little work on the cabin....mostly relax!

What are your plans for the weekend?

Pick up the new boat on the 15th and taking it out for a test run,if the weather is nice and someone jumps in (waters to cold for me) I'll see how it tows. Didn't bother with the stainless prop, should have enough torque out of the hole as is. Might take trailer but it's still at the farm in storage and it usually takes a day to get it ready. Probaly help with seeding one day as spring work is late this year, really wet= lots of mud on trails. . Kids want take trailer but I think it's gonna be a little boating and some seeding. To much to do ...to little time.

If we've forgotten anything now I think I'm just going to hang myself.... We've had lists going for the past 2 months, finally down to about 3 items on the list, propane, beer, potatoes...... well of course fuel for the truck to, but I need to go see a loan shark about getting that more than once a week.

I bought an 07 Maxum 1900SR3 with a 5.0 inboard. Been looking, saying its for the kids and begging to my finacial advisor(wife) for over a year. She finally broke down(couln't stand to see me act like that )and let me buy it. Truthfully she wanted one also and helped me pick the one we bought. Just brought it home tonight, will post a few pics after weekend. No towing till 10hrs of breakin so I'm hoping the weather is not to bad so we can get some riding and fishing in this weekend.
